New York State Employee Payroll Deduction:
New York State employees can now donate to Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency via payroll deduction under the State Employee Federated Appeal. All they have to do is contact their Human Resources official and fill out the proper paperwork. (State employees include correctional officers.) As always, the donation is tax deductible. The Agency's SEFA number is 87-00028. For more information please call (315) 255-1703, ext. 155.
Volunteering:
The Agency has numerous volunteer opportunities for people of all ages in all of our programs. Please call our Human Resources Director at (315) 255-1703, ext. 129 to discuss what opportunities are available to you.
Used Cell Phone Fundraiser:
Many cell phone owners and businesses are wondering what they should do with their old, inactive cell phones. Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency has an easy solution - donate them! The Agency is collecting cell phones to raise funds for their programs which assist people in achieving self-sufficiency. For every phone collected, the Agency gains a monetary donation. Collection boxes are located at Agency sites including:
- Site I: 65 State Street, Auburn
- Site II: Corner of Clark Street and Brookfield Place, Auburn
- Seneca Office: 23 Center Street, Waterloo
All donations will stay in the community and will be utilized by the Agency to meet our mission of assisting people to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency and self-dignity. For more information, please call (315) 255-1703 ext.155.
Recycling Center Fundraiser:
You can donate your returnables to the Agency by dropping them off at Fingerlakes Recycling Center and telling the staff that you want to donate the funds to Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency. The Center is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Center is located at 393 Grant Avenue in Auburn. Your bottles and cans CAN make a difference! Read more...
