Energy Services Crew Member

The primary responsibility of the Crew Member is to install energy savings measures in homes to reduce the energy burden on the customers we serve.

High School Diploma/GED is required; Vocational or technical training in carpentry or construction highly preferred.  Working knowledge of basic handyman skills and carpentry skills.  Basic arithmetic skills required.  Must have reliable transportation and a clean and valid NYS driver’s license.

This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $12.25 per hour, 40 hrs/wk.

Classroom Aide - Early Childhood Program

The Classroom Aide assists in providing high quality and comprehensive early child development service inclusive of children with special needs.

Child Development Associates credential (CDA) is preferred; or a High School Diploma/GED and enrolled in a program leading to a Child Development Associates credential to be completed within two years; or be enrolled in a program leading to an Associate’s degree or Baccalaureate degree in early childhood development.  Experience working with pre-school aged children. 

This is a full-time, 11-month position.  The hourly rate is $10.69/hr, 37.5 hrs/wk, 50 wks/yr.

Education Manager - Early Childhood Program

The Education Manager is responsible for the planning, organization and management of the educational component and provides strategies to education staff in the areas of Early Childhood Development and Curriculum. Responsible for guiding the Education Coordinator, Site II Supervisor and Early Head Start Coordinator to provide technical support for staff. Ensures the management and compliance of all Early Childhood Development Services including child development and education, curriculum, and transition services as specified in the Head Start Performance Standards, Regulations, Performance Measures, and written Program Plans are completed.

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.  One to three years supervisory experience required.  Experience working in a program with parents and children.

This is a full-time, 11-month exempt position (46 wks/yr).  Annual salary of $41,400.

Site II Supervisor - Early Childhood Program

 

The Site II Supervisor oversees the day-to-day classroom operation and supports and directs the center-based classroom staff at Site II. Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, OCFS Regulations, and all written policies and procedures.

 

Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a Bachelors or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to ECE with experience teaching Preschool age children. One to three years supervisory experience preferred.  Experience working in a program with parents and children.

 

This is a full-time, 11-month position.  The hourly rate is $16.50/hr, 37.5 hrs/wk, 45 wks/yr.

Seneca Programs Director

Bachelor's degree in human services, social sciences, communication or related field required.  1-3 years prior case management exp preferred.  3-5 years supervisory exp preferred. Experience in grant writing, fundraising, and budget monitoring.  Experience with the creation of new programming and knowledge of Seneca County and human service agencies.

Health/Nutrition Coordinator

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Health/Nutrition Coordinator in the Early Childhood Program. The Health/Nutrition Coordinator directs all Health and Nutrition staff in program development.  Ensures compliance in meeting all Health and Nutrition Performance Standards per Federal and State Regulations and with OCFS licensing and CACFP.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health services, health management or a related field and at least 2 years community health experience.  Experience in staff supervision preferred.  Must have a clean, valid NYS driver’s license.

This is a full-time position and is scheduled 40 hrs/wk, 47 wks/yr. The pay rate is $18.70/hr.

Community Services Case Manager

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Case Manager in our Community Services program.  The Case Manager responds to customers in crises seeking assistance through direct contact or referral.  Provides case management services to a caseload of eligible participants.

Associate’s degree in human services or related field required.  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.  Family Development Credential is desired. 1-3 years case management experience is preferred.  Must have a clean, valid NYS driver’s license. 

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $13.93/hour, 35 hrs/week.

Early Childhood Classroom Substitutes

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking Classroom Substitutes in our Early Childhood Program. Substitutes assist in providing high quality and comprehensive child development instruction to children and parents, and aids in classroom leadership on an as-needed basis.

Must have a High School Diploma/GED.  Experience preferred working with pre-schoolers and/or children with disabilities.  This is an on-call, as-needed position.  The pay rate is $10.69/hr.
