Bikers 4 Bridget

|
On Saturday, May 18, 2013, the Bikers 4 Bridget Committee will host "Bikers 4 Bridget 2nd Annual Memorial Run." Registration begins at 9 am at the SK Post 1324 located at 168 State Street, Auburn. The cost of registration is $25 per biker and $15 per rider. This includes the ride, a T-shirt and a chicken dinner. If you wish to participate but don't own a motorcycle, you may ride the route in a car.
The run will commence at 10 am with a bike blessing. Immediately following, the caravan of bikes and cars will start the trek, riding south down Route 41A. After making a pit stop at the Lake Como Inn in Moravia, riders will head north on Route 38A back to Auburn for a chicken dinner at Big Kahuna’s restaurant.
For those individuals not participating in the ride, you can join up at Big Kahuna’s for live entertainment and numerous raffles. Chicken dinners ($10) and commemorative T-shirts will be available for purchase. Patty Weaver at Site I has 50/50 raffle tickets available for purchase, $1 each or 6 for $5. The winner will be drawn at the event.
Bridget Bell was a 29 year old Auburn woman who was murdered in her home on November 21, 2011. Ryan Brahney, the father of Bridget’s young son, was ultimately convicted of her murder. This year the money raised will be given to the Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency’s Domestic Violence Intervention Program. If you have questions, please contact Patty Weaver at 255-1703 ext. 153. |
